Justin passed with his 2nd hearing test since birth. Yay! Also, I had a social worker came to the house today. We were going over some questions about Justin's situation. The social worker will be working with me to give me some ideas on how to improve Justin's speech, eating habit, and to get a speech therapist the sooner the better as we are on a waiting list.
A combination of --
Chewing problem (doesn't eat a lot of texture food and prefer more softer)
Need to point at object and to learn new words
Need to understand when I command him to get something
Make Animal sounds
Short attention span
*He did learned a lot of signs but he quit altogether about 3 months ago. And now he is not signing at all. I am not sure why but some says he is lazy?!
I will update his progress and if he does not improve much in the next 6 months before he turn '3' he will be qualify to go to preschool for FREE at "Bonnie MacBeth" to help students like him.
If you think your child has some sort of delay. I highly recommend get the child to Early Intervention (EI). They will tell you if she/he qualify and often time they may be able to get your child into preschool for FREE!
Now with having twins, I will find a class for Rianna on those days IF he need to be in preschool. I know things will work out if anything at all.
