Enchanted Ball

OMG! I had no control over my daughter when I took her to 'Enchanted Ball' the minute she walked into the gym area. She couldn't careless to do any of the crafts. Of course, I knew but I thought she would be a bit patience before she goes dancing the night away. I didn't dress her like all of the other little girls did because I felt why spend the $$$$ when she is only going to wear it for 1-1/2 hour as she is on a growth spurt. I brought a clearance sale t-shirt with light flashing across that says 'Princess'. And nevermind she couldn't careless what she had on in the first place. I need to discipline Rianna that she cannot have that kind of freedom running around like she is independently. I tried and tried to get her to look at the camera as usual she is not a camera person since the day she was born!

NW Comm. Park w/Twins Group

This is one of their favorite park as it has a toddler playground. They also have older playground too. Rianna and Justin was running back and forth. Rianna is starting to show daredevil on the big slide while Justin loves climbing. We met up 2 of the Moms who have twins for that day.

OMG! I love doing this!

Tiny Tots has created a wonderful new idea for their group. We have a Mom Night In/Playgroup which means we get together between 5 to 8 pm while our husbands work late every now and then to make our life much easier to entertain all of their friends and tired them out without a fight in bed. Rianna and Justin LOVE all of their friends.

*Justin wanted this toy for his birthday. It is called Ball Popper by Playskool (I think). It is a very popular toy since they came out last year. It was the first thing he play when he goes to every playgroup. I just never had the chance to buy it for Justin and Rianna doesn't really care for it.

Laundry Helper!

Rianna and Justin really wanted to help Mommy with laundry. Here they are throwing in the 'whites' into the wash. They also like to push the wet clothes into the dryer. When I open the dryer to take clothes out when buzzer goes off. Rianna or Justin would run up to the closet door or point at it as they can hear the buzzer is going off.

Tiny Tot Playgroup 09/24

We missed going to Aron's house as he got TONS of toys to play with and a beautiful swing set that was recently set-up for the little ones to play. We arrived very late into the playgroup as my kids were still napping. I thank Kristi for allowing us to stay until Aron got so tired.

The Twins' Growth Chart

Mommy brought a growth chart before the twins were born. We are finally getting around to measure them as they will be '2' next week. To our surprised, Rianna is 34" inches and Justin is 35" inches. It is amazing that they both are going to be 3 ft tall and not even '3' yet! I did some research and they are WAY over their percentile of their height.

Their shoes sizes has grown quickly over this past summer. Rianna wears 6-1/2 but would buy '7'. Justin wears 7-1/2 shoes but he wears size '8' for them to have room to grow.

On Our Way Getting Better!

The kids and I are on our way getting better each day. Although I went to see the DR yesterday and got my prescription to help to fight off the bad sinus infection that been on since last month when I thought I was getting better but it came back. The kids are getting better with their cold each day they are more playful.

The other good news some of my test result has came back normal/negative. I have a few more test and then I am done with my physical check-up. I am thankful that I am still a healthy Mom of 2!

MNO In/Playgroup (Tiny Tots)

I really enjoyed the MNO In/Playgroup. As we know there are plenty of us whose husbands work late, travel, or who just need a change of pace. The best part is that you can enjoy an evening out, without having to find a babysitter. This event usually take place between 5 to 8 pm. This give us a break from having to play with the kids ourselves and tired the kids just in time for bed time without any whining! The kids were listening to music "Milk and Cookies" from Rianna and Justin's class. They had a blast time dancing away!

Planes, Trains, and Automobile Class

Daddy and Justin signed up with a class through Plainfield Park District for 'Planes, Trains, and Automobile' craft. This is such a nice way to bond together and having fun!

Uh-oh, Justin saw the playground connecting to his class. He did not want to do any craft and prefer to play on the slide. Daddy managed him to do some craft to show off.

When Daddy came home and to tell me he was the only one with the camera! He thought he was embrassing himself?! What gives since this is his moment with his son! Of course, Mommy wanted to put this on her blog to show off.

Sick Day!

Poor Mommy! I've been sick since last week of Wednesday. The cough/cold hasn't gone away. I think it is TIME to get myself to the DR as none of the over-the-counter medicines are working for me.

I can't believe summer is over and today is our first 'real' cold day! The kids are now wearing long sleeves and need to get them a couple of new playwear clothes and gym shoes if they want to go outside and play in our back yard.

My First Twins' Sales

It was my first twins' sales to participated with SW Suburban Moms of Multiples. As this past summer I had a garage sale and did not do well. I was really surprised because a lot of the clothes I had were only 1-year old same thing with the toys too.

I expected this turn out to be a lot of people. Unfortunately, we did not get a line like other twins' sales club. They actually had a lot of good stuff because they were more updated version of toys/ride-on toys and etc. It is so sad that I had to take back what I work hard on with 'tagging' but I can leave it on the clothes for next year.

The good news! I donated all of the toys left to the church. This church is unpopular but has 80 members with smaller size. I met the new pastor 'Craig' and his wife 'Pam' as they about to become an ownership of the church property. You can certainly tell that they embark this new exciting to the community. They gave me a tour of the church itself. I saw how they made a 'nursery/class' for 2 years. They have 2 volunteer intrepreters for 6 of the members that attend the church. I met 2 of the older ladies. I wish this church was catholic (they are non-demoniation) because there is only 1 church in Plainfield but it is always crowd. It would be nice to be a member of a smaller size church where we can connect our community in a better way for our kids. This was the perfect ideal.

And PS -- I have been sick since we came home from Labor weekend. On Friday I was forced to get through my twins' sales put together and help to set-up at the church was the worse day as I was coughing nonstop through the night. John had to wake me up knowing I had to be at the church for the big day. The first 2 hours was TOUGH but I got through it! I am still sick and still coughing but not so much of nonstop and finally got some sleep through the night.

The Hearing Test~Justin

Justin passed with his 2nd hearing test since birth. Yay! Also, I had a social worker came to the house today. We were going over some questions about Justin's situation. The social worker will be working with me to give me some ideas on how to improve Justin's speech, eating habit, and to get a speech therapist the sooner the better as we are on a waiting list.

A combination of --
Chewing problem (doesn't eat a lot of texture food and prefer more softer)
Need to point at object and to learn new words
Need to understand when I command him to get something
Make Animal sounds
Short attention span

*He did learned a lot of signs but he quit altogether about 3 months ago. And now he is not signing at all. I am not sure why but some says he is lazy?!

I will update his progress and if he does not improve much in the next 6 months before he turn '3' he will be qualify to go to preschool for FREE at "Bonnie MacBeth" to help students like him.

If you think your child has some sort of delay. I highly recommend get the child to Early Intervention (EI). They will tell you if she/he qualify and often time they may be able to get your child into preschool for FREE!

Now with having twins, I will find a class for Rianna on those days IF he need to be in preschool. I know things will work out if anything at all.

The First Day of Class at Kindermusik

There were 8 students beside us. Rianna and Justin was running around as usual cannot sit still on their first day of class. Rianna was good as she tried to follow through with her teacher, Becca Hayes. Justin show NO shyness when he came into the class. He did has a case of 'stranger anxiety' for a few months prior to taking this class. Today he was a happy boy that want to pace along with his new teacher in his music class with 'Milk & Cookies' song.

They are going to class every Tuesdays until December 19th. The every week class I hope Rianna and Justin will have a better attention span, follow-thru, command, and hope he will explode with more 'talking' as well. I'll try to post some fun pictures of them in their class.
