Rianna and Justin turned 20 months old!

They're 20 months old now! It is amazing that we have them in our life and can't believe it was 2 years ago I gave birth to them.

For their birthday coming up we have decided to do 2 separate party for them. I will be inviting some of their friends from Tiny Tots and Twins' Group which will be held on the actual day of their birthday (Sept. 30 of Tuesday). Also, we will have a grown up party to help us celebrate their 2nd birthday this year with a BBQ cookout on the weekend. Because we really don't have any families left to help us to celebrate. We feel blessed with all of our close friends who count us as their 2nd family. When I look back at those birthday cards last year I tell John we're so lucky to have our friends helping us to celebrate each year. We certainly can't thank you enough for those of you know us too well.

For this year gift if anyone asking us. We need clothes for Fall/Winter (2T). There are a few toys they want this year and if anyone is interest, please send an email directly to us. John and I are planning to buy them 1 big gift which will be the play kitchen by Step2. This is what we want to buy and here is the link --

Save-the-date:
Tiny Tots/Twins' Group will be held on Sept. 30th of Tuesday
Godparents/Friends will be held on Sept. 28th of Sunday

Selling / Posting Our Twins' Toys/Items

Hey.....I just wanted to tell you that I made some big bucks today! And took that $$$ and went on a shopping spree with Rianna and Justin at ToyRUs. And still have plently of left over $$$ will go toward to their new clothes for this coming Fall.

I've been posting our stuff on our local yard sales and craiglist. Let's hope we get to sell our custom bedding from the twins' crib. That is a big item to sell. I will be having our first annual garage sale next month. We have so much stuff that I need some volunteers from my play group to help me get things organized!

Have a good day!

Playgroup at April's (TT)

Rianna is showing a bit of separation anixety at this age! Justin doesn't cry anymore but he like to hang onto Mommy's pant. They are both very sensitive and it take a while for them to warm up even they have seen the Moms and the kids upteem times since last year. It doesn't make sense?! I hope they will eventually get out of this phase soon.

Lately Justin has been into educational toys with various of puzzle. He is becoming expert on those things now. Rianna still like to play all over the place.

Here are some pictures to enjoy!

I got to get this one for them!

Mom Night Out with the Twins Group

I love doing the Mom Night Out dinner each month. This month we went to GoRoma at the Bolingbrook Promenade. I truly enjoyed small conversation, show off pictures, and really have that wonderful friendship to bond as we all share our experienced with our twins.

Papa's Lake for Memorial Weekend (Part 1 of 4)

The Sullivan's Family went over to Papa's House on the Lake. We left Friday evening as we knew that they would have a hard time going to bed on the first night. But the next 3 days was easy as we put them in their pack-n-play pen for nap and bedtime. The kids had a great time with boat ride, playground, playing with rock, doing some chalk on the driveway, visiting Papa's friend, stroller walk, and hanging out on Papa's patio. We did a lot of cooking on the grill as the boys LOVE it. Uncle Ben has came along and has been a great help with watching the kids when Mommy and Daddy went for a boat ride.

Here are some fantastic pictures of the kids.

MNO -- Bunco Game (TT)

Anne is the greatest hostess because we always go to her house for Bunco games. This is actually a fun game to play. It is very easy to follow the rule after playing 2nd time around and now I am addicted to this game. We had 28 Moms from Tiny Tots for that evening with plenty of healthy snack as we're still into the "Fitness Gurge" competition. I only lost 2 lbs and not even 'trying' hard enough. Anyway, I am looking forward to many Bunco games and there is one coming up again! Whoo-hoo.

Enjoy the pictures!

A Great Buy!

Mommy brought some gently used outdoor toys for Rianna and Justin. I used the local internet search for 'yard sale' and 'craiglist'. The only thing is new is the sand/water box. We will be using both side with sand for them to play.

1) 2 Ride-on toys (still trying to get them interest!)
2) A retired Little Tikes Whirly (tea cup spin)
3) A gently used picnic table (not the fold up)

They are enjoying their back yard after we had our yard being professionally landscape. We knew they'll be on those rock!
No Sand Mommy?

Mommy -- Is this how I go?

A Surprise Visit

My girlfriend, Anita brought along her Dad to see me, the kids, meeting my husband, and our house. Anita was in town to stay with me over the weekend for a Spring luncheon I had on May 18th. I will be doing this as an annual every year because I don't often see all of my girlfriends because of our busy life. This year it was just the 4 of us. I hadn't even think to take a picture after 2 of my girlfriends whom I haven't seen in 2 years. Ugh!

Tiny Tots Comm. Park Outing

A great day to go out to the park with 20+ Moms and their kids at Anne's house. The Community Park is perfect as they have 3 individually playground and a skating board area. What I really like it has a smaller version playground for those who are just learning how to walk, climb, taking first step onto the slide. Rianna and Justin did NOT run off the playground as they were too busy with climbing on steps, bridge, tunnels, and varies of slides to go down. It was nice that we were able to do this as we all take turn making sure all of our kids are safe and surrounding with us. If you noticed I took a picture of all the strollers line up and that how many Moms got involved today as we are challenging ourselves with "Fitness" to lose some baby fat by mid-June. So, we're going to be doing a lot of stroller walk to the park this summer.
Perfect for the little ones!
