Daddy and I went through a lot to get BOTH of you here! As you see we have been trying to get pregnant from the day forward of our wedding. Mommy was having several miscarriages. This is when we both decided to go see an infertility specialist. We did all kind of test and reveal that there is nothing wrong with either of us. Dr. Randy Morris had talk with us about getting a "Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis" (PGD) during our 1st IVF. The most common type of preimplantation testing that they do is to look at the number of each type of chromosome present as some percentages of the embryos are going to be abnormal. Dr. Morris says it doesn't mean I can't never get pregnant but my odds is running against with an healthy embryos.
With our 1st IVF we only had 1 surviving embryo which was a baby girl as PGD can determine which sex will be transfer to Mommy. We lost that one -- needless to say I was ready for an egg donor when we did the 2nd IVF. We came close losing the 2nd round of IVF for unknown reason we did not have any vital embyros as on Day 5 there was only 3 surviving embyros for "transfer day". Dr. Morris knew I wanted 3 transfer but his limit was at 2 for safety of my health and the babies if there was to be a "twin". Dr. Morris came back into our room that day and offer us to do 3 transfer. We knew of our decision and there is no regret for us.
