Justin's 6 Month Review

Justin will continue to work with his speech therapy and the social worker once a week for another 6 month. They will do the final assessment just before his 3rd birthday. We had a good discussion that they feel he has excel everything else without having to go to full day preschool this coming Fall 2009. However, it is more likely we will do a walk-in speech therapy.

I am still trying to figure out what to do this Fall. Their teacher~Andrea is expecting baby #3 with a possibly of another set of twins or singleton. She had said that she'll teach January-May 2010.

It meant to find something for Rianna and Justin to do for this Fall. I am still checking out some of the classes through park district. The only issue I have is what if I want to sign Rianna up for ballet and then Justin for sport class? At their age they still require Parent/Child to attend if I wish to sign them up for those class. It mean I have to find a way to have someone watch one of them for that day with class so I can be with one of the other. I know time will tell when something can be work out.

Rianna's First Potty on 01/26

I knew time was coming to buy their potty chairs. I decided to order one from online. I brought 2 Baby Bjorn potty chairs (very plain) with green/yellow instead those popular color "Pink/Blue". After getting the new potty chairs I just prompt them up in the bathroom. I told them that this is your new potty chair when you have to go let Mommy or Daddy know.

Daddy came home from work one night. The kids get excited to see him come through the door every day. They play together for a little bit. And all of the suddenly Rianna tap on Daddy's shoulder and hand sign and said, Potty, Potty, and Potty.

He immediately got my attention and told me that Rianna want to go potty. I surprised that she actually went potty in her chair (just shy of her 28 months). Because I was planning on training her but she figured it all out by herself.
She had gone potty 3 days straight but only once a day. She is now letting us know when she goes number #2 (FINALLY!!!!!!). Justin is also showing sign of not wanting number #2 in his diaper for now.

The exciting part is that.......Rianna will be fully potty trained by Summer. This means she'll be able to wear more summer dresses with her undies. Whoo-hoo!

Justin's New Bedding

Mommy found Justin's new bedding and a great deal on this twin comforter. I kept looking for the right color for months and here I came across to this one. This comforter will be 'room to grow' into for a few years. I did not want to get any character theme but Daddy want his room to be sport theme (Vintage).

Justin will be moving into his own room once we clear out some of the stuff in the basement to make room for all of the furniture that we have in the 3rd bedroom. I am hoping to do this sooner because I sensed that Justin will NOT go to bed without his sister. The older he is will get harder to split them up will drive us crazy!

Rianna & Justin's First Day of Preschool

They go twice a week on Monday/Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. Rianna cried when I drop both them off. I run out when their teacher~Andrea calm her down. Rianna would be fine within a minute. Justin just love going to his preschool and when I come to pick them up. He does not want to LEAVE and doesn't care if I am there or not. They both need to go and learn how to interact with 5 other toddlers. They do storytime, music, and art craft. It is wonderful especially for Justin who is still receiving speech therapy.
Happy to Go!
I'm all dress up for my first day!
