The Big Bed at Papa's House!

Mommy and Daddy were nervous about how they would be able to nap and sleep through the night at Papa's house for "Thanksgiving" weekend. We were exceptionally surprised that they both slept really good at night time. Rianna did well with all of her nap while we had to struggled with Justin to quit jumping around in bed.

We survived and they are back at home sleeping in their own crib again. Whew! I am not ready for the transition just yet. We will be redoing their bedroom in the Spring. By then they will probably be ready for the big bed again.

The New Pink Boots

Mommy and Daddy brought Rianna and Justin their new winter coat and boots. As you can see Rianna LOVE wearing her new boot every morning when she get up. She is known to hate being in front of the camera. I'll have to post a video of her.....she was so FUNNY!

Oh no.....crib climbing!

On Wednesday night we all were playing upstairs in their bedroom with their toys. John says I can't believe they haven't learned how to climb out of the crib yet. They're both very BIG into climbing these days. I think particuarly because they know they are only in the crib for nap and bedtime routine. They never had to wait a long time for us to get them out of the crib. Right?

I put both of them down for a nap on Thursday for their mid-morning nap. I know Justin was near tired but he always managed to relax in his crib and then fall asleep. Rianna wanted to shut her eyes.

Lo and behold, I found myself looking at the monitor. I said, Where is Justin at? I saw a flicker on the floor? I said, oh my gosh he must have fallen out of the crib. So I ran in their room wide open with the door and you can tell they were both giggling at each other in Rianna's crib. I couldn't believe it!

Justin had climb over his crib onto the dresser and then jump into Rianna's crib. At first, Rianna was being funny about him in her crib. It took me 4 tries to get him to stop climbing over the crib. Rianna was getting cranky because she was getting tired.

How I wish we never had that discussion in their room that night! I won't be surrpised anymore if Justin start getting into a habit.

The specialist at Loyola University

It has been 2 years since the accident that I had lost all of the ability to sound/balance. We finally got in with the specialist at his office in Oakbrook as an consult. I was really hoping they would tell me a bit if they had any patients like myself. Unfortunately he dealt with so many patients for years and never came across to something like myself. For the starter he was surprised that both of the ENTs DR did not do any cat scan especially the 1st ENT DR. We're pretty much back to square ONE! The good news is that I will be going in for a cat-scan/testing as soon as I get another debate of that referral form.
