2 Year Old Check-Up

Financial Crisis 2008/2009
Mommy and Daddy want to let you know that we both LOVE you very much! We stress every day on how we are going to get you new toys, clothes, and what food you will eat. Our 401k and stock has plummet where everything else is so expensive to go out and buy things we normally would be able to get by. We do hope the stock will turn around and bring us back to wealth but it a 'wake up' call for all of us.
One day we will sit with both of you and teach you the value of money because everything else is usually 'material' at one point you're both going to feel like "I did not need that item". It is very important in your generation because every penny you earned goes straight to your credit rating when you want to someday buy your dream house and car which will be the main source that you will need to provide when you grow up.
One of my favorite all time author is Suzie Orman, a HUGE influence on ideally for financial advise.
We hope when you read this and look back and know how tough it was when you both turned "2". Mommy and Daddy did a great job with investing into 'used toys'. Every time we had playdates at our house. You could tell the Moms couldn't believe all of the toys were YOURS but I tell them they are all 'used'. If I hadn't told them they would have actually thought we had well spend money to spoiled both of you.
In this election this year is going to be the biggest year since the "Kennedys". Whoever will become President is to change the way our economy in our country!

2008 Halloween (Tiny Tots)
I finally got some cutie costume this year for Rianna and Justin. Rianna is a Wild Cat and Justin is Meerak. Aren't they adorable? Rianna and Justin had their Halloween Party with Tiny Tots and tons of cute kids with their costume too.

Scarescrow Family Day (Twins)
We went to St. Charles Scarescrow Festival and met up with another couple who also have twins. Rianna and Justin had so much fun at the petting zoo. They are starting to learn how to hold their hands out to feed the animals. (Bravo, Bravo, and Bravo)

10/05 Key Lime Cove (2nd time around)
This is our 2nd time around going to Key Lime Cove indoor waterpark in Gurnee. They were there when they were only 18 months old (big different this time) and much easier but they did had so much fun 1st and 2nd time around. We went with the same couple, Jen & Brian and their beautiful daughter - Ashlyn.

10/01 Playgroup (Twins)
Wow! What a busy week with their birthday and then the playgroup on the same week. I had to clean up to get ready for the next round of party/playgroup.
