My Babies!

I've been freaking out lately that my babies are 'growing up' too quickly. They just turned 21 months old today. I'd have to say between 18 to 20 months are the most difficult as they were giving me a hard time! As they learned more signs we are able to understand each other's needs. They do talk and signs at home but when they are out in public place they would be more reserved and shy. I am hoping they'll break their shell and start talking more in public through our playgroups.

26/27/28

Our first ever garage sale since we moved into this house. Unfortunately, we did not do so well with it because timing may have been the problem. Why? We had a huge 50+ homes garage sale down the street at another subdivision. Secondly, we do live on an off street where it is not relatively close to a 'busy street'. And lastly, it suck when baby clothes/toys have not been sold as I expected it to be!

Anyhow, I decided to clear out all of the stuff that we no longer want or need and send it to 'Goodwill'. I feel so much better when I do things like because it meant we're not a selfish act of greed especiallyhaving nice items compared to others' garage sale. I have talked with my husband and don't think we will EVER do a garage sale again with the exception a possible of baby sale. If I were you?! I would make sure that I sell everything when quickly don't wear that size clothes again. Don't let it sit in the basement piling up! My twins' are still into size 24 mos and if they get into 2T (I'll make sure I do a full bag sale through craiglist). It would be so much easier!

I am fortunate that I'll be doing a 2nd chance at a twins' sales. I personally think I would have most stuff being sold from doing local twins' club. Wish me luck!

Justin's 4th ear infection

Did it have to happened during the garage sale week? Ugh! Justin indeed did had his 4th ear infection with a fever hovering around 102-103. We both knew it is not the teething because he just recently broke through 2 more tooth cut. As mommy instinct says he got another ear infection. I took him to the DR right away and sure enough he had one. He did react differently than his past ear infection because he was definitely more clingy than before with me.

3 More Days to Our First Garage Sale!

John and I realized we have a lot more than we thought to have bring all of the stuff from our basement. We're still going through everything and making sure that we don't need to keep collecting when it is not using anymore. The good news is that John will be off on our first day of garage sale start at 9 AM. It'll be a 3-day garage sale and hope we get 90% of the stuff to be sold and the rest to donation at "Goodwill".

06/23

Today, I was supposed to start organizing the items for the garage sale. But Justin ended up having a low grade fever after his morning nap. His fever arise to almost 103 without trying to bring the fever down. So, I made a quick call to the doctor and bring him in. We figured he must have had another ear infection. Of course, Mommy's instinct was right! He has been in my arms for most part of the late afternoon. This will be his 4th ear infection since the birth. Let's hope that Rianna does not get one too!

Twins' Picnic Outing 6/19

We had our twins' picnic outing today! It was fantastic with all of the little ones running around. The biggest hit was the sand/water and our Step2 Climber/slide. I'll be doing this again next month. The Moms really enjoy sitting underneath tent to chat with each other.

The Hot Dog and Fries Grab!

Check this out! Justin is getting a lot SMARTER as Mommy had to take a quick check-in with bathroom. He was minding his own business as I sneak up and took this photo of him. He is now learning how to climb on these chairs. I have told John that we no longer can leave anything up there because he can get onto the countertop. Of course, if I see him he's going in a "time out" spot! He already has been getting himself trouble lately. This is a really challenge time for me because he such a curious person and always "daredevil' at anything!

Changing Our Twins' Group Logo

We are approaching to the 1-Year Anniversary of our "The Southwest Twins Play Group" meetup on July 5th. I can't believe I did it! It has been going really well this year with more members signing up with us.

I have decided to changed our logo to make it more cuter and fun for our group. We are now going with "Two Times the Fun!".

The Weekend 06/14

Papa came in town this past weekend. It took a little bit more time for Justin warm up but Rianna was fearless. I don't think I would ever have a problem with her. Justin is still showing some separation/stranger anxiety at times.

Rianna has finally starting to look at the camera more whenever I take pictures. I found a way to get her attention is to flip the video so she can see herself and then I would have to snap the picture from the camera itself......Go figured!

Mommy brought something BIG! It is this giant outdoor tent for them as they love hiding or playing in the giraffe.

A birthday party for Analiesa and Nikolas

Rianna and Justin was invited to their friends' 1st birthday for Analiesa and Nikolas. I can't believe they have grown up since I met Ericka last year as she is a member of our twins' group. It was a very nice birthday party and the last one!

Riverwalk Twins' Outing!

We had a very successful largest group came to Riverwalk (downtown of Naperville) with all of the twins'. The weather was perfect that day. The playground was so crowded that I only took Rianna and Justin back 3 times. They only stay at the playground for a short time because there was so many kids running around. I am hoping we will have another big park outing next month!

My First Digital Scrapbooking!

This is my first launch of digital scrapbooking. I am really excited to move into a different design concept than what I usually do for years. It sounds difficult but it is really easy with simple software using Adobe Photoshop Elements. You either can be creative with your traditional scrapbooking by using the scanner to put elements together or you can buy a gallery with dragging onto your photoshop.

Enjoy the picture!

Rianna learned 3 new words in sign lang.

Potty, Bird, and Cold

They like going to the bathroom with me whenever I have to go.

This past weekend Daddy put new bird feeder and now we have so man birds flying in our back yard by our tree area. I told Rianna look at those birds.

As usual they get a bath every day since summer is here. Rianna was shivering and signed/said "cold".

I am amazed at how fast Rianna is picking more words in sign language. I just think she is going to catch on with Justin sooner.

After this morning -- Playing in their yard

I had post a 'wanted AD' through Craiglist about getting this Step2 Climber/Slide. There was one that I was going to get but I missed their post by 1 day. But the good news we had a better deal for this gently used Step2 Climber/Slide. John went to pick it up last week on Thursday. Over this weekend he has assembled them together. The twins LOVE their newly outdoor toy!

Today, I let them out after dinner as the weather finally cool down. They had a such a blast time running around.

Northwest Comm. Park Outing

Oh boy.....If I had known it was going to be this hot and humid this morning. I would have let the kids take their mid-morning nap. We only stay for about 40 minutes and being exposed with sun that they are not custom to it yet. We had a lot of Moms all over the place at this park today. By the way, Justin has developed 3 new freckles on his arm! Also, we ran into my cousins' wife with her kids as she is also part of Tiny Tots Play Group too.
I like this slide as it has 2 for them to come down
to race each other!

Rianna communicated with Daddy!

I was cleaning the kitchen up while Daddy was playing with Rianna and Justin. Rianna tapped at her Daddy and said and signed at the same time by saying "Bath". Daddy asked her the question, Do you want a bath? She signed and said, Bath and then ran upstairs! How cool is that?! They're only 20 months old!
