A playgroup at my house

At first we had the playgroup at 11:00 a.m. but I had an emergency to go see the DR for my ongoing sinus infection. So, I switch our time slot to 1:00 p.m. On top of that I was not aware that our professionally landscaper show up at my house. I love how we "Moms" get together and let the kids have a good time.

We recently join a new playgroup called "Puddle Jumpers". It was the first meeting that I have met 3 of the Moms.

When Papa was away in Florida for his long winter vacation. I remind the kids who that is "Papa" from our family picture. This way when he comes to visit they would recognized him.

Today, when we arrived home from March of Dimes. They were happy to be home to run around instead of being stuck in their stroller and car seat. Anyway, we captured Rianna's moment when she was looking at our Christmas family picture. And she said, Papa, Papa, and Papa. We couldn't believe our ears that she really knows who her "Papa" is....a very proud moment for us. Of course we called our Dad up and she said over the phone, Papa too!

March of Dimes Walk For Babies

It felt great that I was doing something for our community. I donated my time to do our walk in support for March of Dimes today. It was the first trip for me and could not believe the crowd! As I spin around looking for 2 ladies that I am supposed to meet with -- I'm glad that someone help me by calling on their cell phone. It took a good 15 minutes to find each other. We sort of were the last group to walk that day. The walk was LONG but a good work out. At the end of the walk I had to get my Starbuck coffee. It was a bit cold for the kids but they were okay.

A Special Moment with my dear friend....

I just learned that my close friend has finally became pregnant after a long battle with IVFs around the same time as I did. I am thrill that she is expecting twins and doing wonderfully at 13 week along.

I came across to one of the cutest blog, Penn's Family. I want to extend my "Smile for Miles from Heaven" and will be giving a hug to my dear friend who waited a long time for a miracle to start a family of their own!

At the Promenade Bolingbrook Mall

I am an organizer for our Southwest Twins Play Group. I met up 2 of the Moms who were on break during lunch hour. We had lunch at Johnny Rocket and then went on to meet 2 more Moms who both have twins girls. It was the first time for me to see the girls since the birth and they look so adorable! Rianna and Justin had so much fun at the little park area where they can run around and touching the fake 'Hippo'.

Key Lime Cove (Indoor Water Park)

It felt like a true mini-vacation at Key Lime Cove. It a new indoor water park that just open on February 29, 2008. Rianna and Justin (18.5 mos) was exploring their first step when they walk into the grand hotel room. The hotel room and the entire place look very colorful like Sunshine State of Florida. We went with another couple, Jen, Brian and their beautiful daughter, Ashlyn (15 mos). They were extremely helpful at times when both of my kids wanted to go on the water slide.

Baby Announcement!

Lo and Behold, I have 2 friends (Ericka and Linda) who are expecting their 3rd baby. What a great surprised, blessed, and a miracle after they both have gone through many fertility problems in the past. They both have beautiful twins and will have a new addition to their family.

Congratulations to both of you!

We got a serious sicky bug in our home!

We all have been sick on and off since beginning of November 07'. If I remember that Rianna was the first person threw up in the family room and then onto her crib in the middle of the night. And Daddy was the only one was feeling "fine" out of 3 of us. A few days later Justin threw up but only once and lastly John finally got sick too.

Let's fast forward as today is April 13th, Rianna and Justin has a sinus and ear infection since last week. They are both finishing up their medicine. While Mommy is dealing with her sinus/headcold this past weekend.

This has been the longest "cabin fever" we had since Winter 07-08'. The weather has not really "warm up" yet.

The Portrait Day from "Celebrity Kid"

Mommy and Daddy took both of you to get your 18-month portrait picture taken. We noticed the trend of Justin love being in front the camera. He's always smiling and laughing while Rianna is more reserved but she does a good job too. We had decided to do an individually with Mommy and Daddy this time because I really wanted to get the photo each of you while both still have your cute "baby face". I know both of you will cherish all of your beautiful pictures and will pass it down to your own children and many more generation.

A birthday party for another twins!

Rianna and Justin attend another birthday party for Tim and Jake with their Mommy (Tricia). The boys turned 2 year old. We host the birthday party at CiCi's Pizza place. There was another twin Mommy (Kritina) with 2 beautiful babies (Audrey and Ainsley) and her oldest son, Daniel. It was just 11 of us show up as part of the twins play group. It is unfortunately we did not bring the camera today!

Puzzle Accomplished!

Justin has accomplished at 18-1/2 months old with his "Melissa and Doug - Animal Sounds" by matching it to the correct puzzle. He's improving each day and love to get the clap if he does it right!

Rianna is not there yet....but her turn will come soon.

First Day of Blogging

I am writing this for our loving twins, Rianna and Justin. I hope in return that they will read many years of blogging from Mommy. I decided to do this exactly at their high and low moment in their life as as their personality begining to blossom each day.
